I've been looking at these and am about to pull the trigger and order one. I haven't found that kind of deal (yet). Mind sharing your source?

Dusty, what glue did you use?

I have a gently used one of these that I'd be willing to make you a great deal on - sized for big guys. PM me if you're interested.

Re: TTN 5-17-2012 Unofficial Club Dive

Mr. Penders did bring his camera (posting the photos is another story :smt064). On dive 1 we decided to head straight out. We surface swam to the buoy straight out from the entrance and dropped in at about 40'. With viz about 10-15' we decided to head deep to the bottle field. About 4 fins kicks an...

Redondo is one of the only local sites they turn up, almost always on night dives.

I want a picture!

Some regs should be under pressure when soaked. Atomic is one of them:

Not sure whether this the same with their version of the alt air.

If Scoobie Doo is in, I'm out. Les D just seems to have it out for him. :wedgie:

Actually, my daughter's bday is tomorrow, and I'll be knee deep in cake and ice cream instead.

But seriously, someone needs to keep a wary eye on Scoobie... :pirate:

I'm trying to figure out a date myself this summer to camp/dive at Saltwater, as we really want to do a night dive on the reef (park gates close in the evening). Re: My (to be) summer vacation

Dash Point State Park would put you right about in the middle of several south Puget Sound shore dive sites. Saltwater State Park is also located in the south sound and has camping, but may be little more primitive. However, Saltwater has a very nice reef that Dash Point does not (but make sure to t...

Is it like when your parents scold you and say "Go to Bonaire and think about what you've done!"? Wish I had figured out how to accomplish this punishment during my youth. :notworthy: So, does proper technique require just putting one toenail over "the line" - or running so far ...

Here's a link to a dive map of Octopus Hole that indicates a deeper wall. I've not found/dove the deeper wall myself, and the map is a little out-date (no platform exists). Best way to find the shallow wall is to walk or surface swim to the nearly-downed tree that is south of the entry, then head st...

On waist I'm still baffled on the donning sequence, etc. Just go diving with nearly anyone using a canister light on this board, watch Bob next time you're with him etc. The canister is on the right side of the waist strap, lighthead clipped to the right chest somewhere. Lynn - that was exactly my thought when I spotted him. Several others nearby were poised just like him - almost like a choir. Ron - too true. Re: Redondo 2/17/12 - Better late than never...

Nice shots, Jesse! "It was a dark and stormy night" would have accurately described our evening. We started our first dive in calm waters, and ascended to big wind and sizeable waves. Trying to take pictures of lumpies at 6fsw while being tossed by the surge was an effort in futility. I fi...
