Re: Where to in Maui?

I just called them and sadly they don't take snorkelers, I have some non-diving people going with me and want them to come along for a fun day. So, if anyone can suggest another dive charter that would be awesome!

Thanks!

Re: Where to in Maui?

I am going to Maui in a few weeks and still need to book a charter. I was hoping you could tell me how your experience went with the Mike Severns boat and crew. Sounds like they come highly recommended. Any other info. you can share about Maui would be greatly appreciated as well!

Thanks a bunch!

I also need to give a Great Big Thank You to Jill (aka) Foggy Mask for helping post fliers, inviting me to a club meeting and being such a big help in the morning set up for the festival. The Salish Sea Dive Club also helped to advertise and showed up to help work my booth for Oceans For Youth. Two ...

Thank you all so much for you input! Re: CamOcean Day

Thank you Sandra for your wonderful presentation on Shark Finning. I heard a lot of talk from people who knew nothing about this subject and were just shocked to learn what is happening. Hopefully they will share what they learned and so on, it is such a horrible thing to see and hear about. Hopeful...

Underwater video before Edmonds Oil Dock was removed??

I am hoping to find anyone that is willing to share underwater video of the Edmonds Oil Dock before it was removed, due to creosote on the wood. Any footage of the area, plants, animals, the structure itself would be very, very helpful. I am hoping that sometime in the very near future, we, and I me...

Re: New Dive Shop To Open In March In Everett?

So where are all you north end folks getting air? Whats the closest place? Well, We could either go north to Bellingham, or I think the next closest going south is a shop on the way to Edmonds. (can't remember the name) Not too far from there is Northwest Sports Divers in Kenmore, that is where I h...

Wow!! Thanks for all the input! I have dove without gloves before I was offered money once to dive w/o just one glove, I couldn't imagine a dive here with no gloves at all. Burrrrr! Most important items for a save a dive kit?

I hope I'm not asking something that has already come up, I tried to check the history, but didn't see anything. I am trying to make up a save a dive kit and was wondering what items I should put in? Since it takes at least a 40 min. to get to the nearest dive site to me, it would be a complete bumm...

Re: Eustation Tube Dysfunction- Anyone???

My dive went good no problems with the ears! We did a shore dive and I kept clear all the way down, no problems. I took some photos with my new underwater housing, and got to see a juvenile eel. (my first) Tons of fish, more than I had ever seen at Mukilteo. I feel good today too. I had my sister wh...

I'm cleared to dive!! \:D/  He thinks that maybe during my dive in April I got an "ear squeeze" that caused the fluid in the ear. There could have been a slight difference of pressure between the two ears that caused the dizziness (one ear cleared more than the other). My ears...
