I took an aow class but to be honest, I wasn't really taught anything I could have learned from a mentor. That or good ol common sense. And I would put instructor on the backburner til you are a great enough diver to lead someone on the best path. I have met quite a few "instructors" and d...

Well if you are hell bent on buying something semi expensive and bright, at least buy a great backup with high power like these. You could mount it on a goodman handle.

Narrow great for signalling

You don't really need one unless you wound up with a plate that doesn't have slots for cam bands. If that is the case you can make your own with a piece of aluminum channel and a little time in the garage will get you going pretty quick. Take a look at a few threads in the archives . I can help you...

Yes and I'm afraid you will have to use the formula I mentioned above. Cept I think you'll have to do it spanish and then co...

Perhaps a light shoot out? Everybody submits a light, then they get graded on performance, battery life, value etc. Could be fun, no? Who's light is brightest is a testosterone fueled argument. Just like my Ferrari is faster than your Chevy. Sure it is but my Chevy still gets me to the grocery store just as fast and a hell of allot cheaper. Light brightness is way over rated. I designed my lights on the principle of making a very...
