I lost a turtle fin at Redondo last night south of the boat launch. If anyone finds it or hears of it being found please let me know.

I know I've seen these ID'ed somewhere but can't remember what they are or where I saw it. So I ask of you critter gurus, what is it?

Hi all, I lost my camera yesterday at Sund Rock. It is a Nikon CoolPix S600 in a clear housing with silver buttons (I think the housing brand was FanTSea something like that). Not a big setup, just simple housing and camera.... I was at the end of the south wall at about 60 ft. Found an Octo on eggs...

On Saturday Evening we had a big ass, out of this world BBQ put together by Phil Watson (The the KING of cookout!) These Spicy Pineapple skewers were amazing! Ever since I first read this post I've been thinking of said pineapple skewers....I'm having a BBQ Monday and would love a recipe...any help...

Nice! I think this is a different shark too....markings on his head look different.....

Update! These are two different sharks....Mikiko found the evidence.... If you're interested look at the first video at 2:14 and the second at 3:14 and notice the first has a notch in his right pectoral fin and the second does not.

There's more than one out there folks! How cool is that?

90 - 100 ft most of the time.....just after dark 10 ish

Saw him again last night, Ahhh!!! That is approaching the realm of "NO FAIR!" :axe: Oh, and each six-gill sighting deserves it's own thread. Some people will miss this. So............ what happened to the Thursday night dive at Redondo?!? No six gill reports yet? :smt064 New thread create...

Found the Six Gill again last night. We are assuming this is the same shark since he was about the same size.

Perhaps you're counting the flaps of skin between the gills? Count the vents...there are six

Only about 4 foot, just a baby so not scary at all

We were at about 90 feet (Near the carousel boat) when we spotted him. Ended up at about 110 so he took us out west a ways....

What a great night dive at redondo tonight. Got to swim with a six gill for about 10 minutes. Here's some pics.

I'm going to be in Aberdeen for a couple days in August. Gotta be some good sites around there, huh? Any suggestions? Or anyone that lives in the area that wants to hook up and go diving?

What kind of schedule do you have and what days/times do you prefer to dive? What sites do you like to dive? Shore or boat diving? Kirsten Mostly shore dives, but I love doing boat dives, just don't get out to do it very often. I have 250+ dives logged and a good 60-70% of those have been at Redond...

Hi all, As you can see, I've been around awhile but I'm not real chatty. I've been lurking and reading a lot of your posts here recently and I'd like to try to hook up with some of you guys on your group dives, etc.... I usually dive with lonestar but he's been a bit equipmentally challenged here re...

A buddy and I are doing Redondo tonight, meeting at 6. You're welcome to join us if you like. Probably do 2 dives .... and I always have my camera too.

..and I may be open to doing something this weekend too.
