Re: Brand new drysuit for sale
I'm trying very hard to be sad about losing my job, Penelope, but in reality, I feel more like your avatar gif . It was getting pretty soul-sucking. Maybe H20doc will take me on as an apprentice and I can learn a new trade!

Re: Brand new drysuit for sale
A very valid question, Laura. Last spring Dr Cherie Johnson did a surgery with the gastrocnemius resection, if I recall the big words correctly. She also took some tendon and crafted me some new ligaments to reattach that side of my foot back onto the leg, and while she was in there she also did som...

Re: Brand new drysuit for sale
Don't worry guys, I have no intention of being out of the water forever; I still have my other suit, leaky though it may be! But at this point, it looks like I will need an ankle replacement or fusion before I can do nifty things like carry weights and propel flippers. Scubak, I'm not a small person...

Brand new drysuit for sale
I've reluctantly come to the conclusion that my gimpy ankle is not going to allow me to get back into the water any time soon. A shame really, since I bought a drysuit not long before they tried to fix the ankle. The fix didn't take well, and I need some cash, so I will be selling my new suit. It's ...

Re: In Memoriam: Lynne Flaherty (LCF, TSandM)
Like many others have said, I was shocked and saddened deeply when I heard about Lynn. Also like many other have said, she was precious to me even though I didn't get to spend a lot of time with her and Peter. Nonetheless, I appreciated her wisdom and generosity in the posts that she made, and the k...

Muk with Kriss, Chris, and Tom
The other weekend, i went down to Mukilteo to pick up my newly repaired light from Chris (H2oDoctor). I ended up chatting for a bit with Norris and met Ed and uhm, another fellow with a single syllable name. Those three went in the water, and Chris arrived later, with Tom the laggard of the group. A...

from weis & hickman's death gate series:
"Physicists don't believe in wizards--a fact that I, being a wizard, find highly insulting. I have taken my revenge, therefore, by refusing to believe in physicists."
applies to moons, mooning, and jets as well

Re: Wolf Eels on Eggs
that was an awesome video! so cute!
I'm a little confused though, would taking momma and daddy out and sticking them in the plain boring tank (maybe with a hideyhole or two) make them stop caring for the egg mass? or would it be just too hard on their psyche?

manacled sculpin?
Jan just posted a picture of his new sculpin find, and it gave me the clue I needed for my little unknown critter. Can anyone please confirm whether this is a manacled sculpin? thanks!
