Woo Corvallis! I'd offer to go diving with you sometime, but as it stands I'm too busy with grad school to really get any diving in :(

Re: Breast Implants and Diving
I thought that episode was about diving compression? Maybe I'm remembering wrongly. Either way... the fact that they're basically balloons of liquid means they shouldn't really expand/contract, right?...

Re: HMCS Annapolis sinking on hold....AGAIN!
So, reading the 2nd article, I like that the Canadian navy let the people suing the government onto the base to serve papers because they (the navy) want to sink the ship... Seems a little ironic for some reason...

AOW
Hey everyone, I'm thinking I want to get my AOW cert this fall. Any suggestions for places to do it? I spend most weekends in Portland, so something either in that area or the Corvallis area would work.

Baja?
Anyone have suggestions of good diving places in Baja around christmas time? A friend and I are going to fly into San Diego and then drive down, and are trying to figure out what places are good for diving.

Re: Club Dive! Club Dive! Club Dive! September 18th!
So, this sounds like fun. I want to come, but does anyone know where I'd be able to rent some gear to use for the dives? I'm new to diving in the NW and, as a poor grad student, haven't had money to buy gear, or time to get it as gifts yet...

Re: New guy in Corvallis
Awesome. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I haven't been diving in a while, and really want to get back into it, and hopefully work my way up to be at least a dive-master... My biggest hindrance for diving is that I don't have any gear of my own, so if I want to do some dives I'll either have t...

New guy in Corvallis
Hey all, I'm just living in corvallis for grad school. I got certified last year doing lake dives in Minnesota, and cant wait to start diving out here. I'm looking for dive buddies, or recommendations for fun.
