Re: Best options for cold water/warm water hybrid bp&w rig
Thanks for the advise all. Found a steal of a deal on an X-deep Zen system so going with that and then going to buy an AL backplate to swap out for warm water. Which means if anyone is planning a trip over to Scotland and is interested in a MK1 Zeagle Express Tech Deluxe, I've got one up for sale! S...

Re: “Marigold” dry gloves with DUI wrist Zip Seals
I have zip seals on my DUI TLS350SE and have had the SiTech system I linked installed since I bought it. No glue just a set of plastic rings and a bit of firm pressure to get them setup and then you're off to dive. If a seal ever fails you can pop these off, install the new seal and then reinstall i...

The SiTech system is this one:

Works great and easy to swap out on the fly.

Re: “Marigold” dry gloves with DUI wrist Zip Seals
I agree with Captn. I have the DUI TLS350 with the silicone zip seals and Sitech pressure ring system. Works like a dream and the rings are pretty easy to setup and install. I use the Blue gloves mentioned and they're quite robust and I carried an extra pair should there be a need to swap them on th...

Best options for cold water/warm water hybrid bp&w rig
Been a bit dormant on the board since moving across the pond to Scotland, but curious to get some advice on a gear issue. Diving in Scotland is much like that of the Northwest, cold, dark, and requires a drysuit or full 7mm wetsuit. As such, at 210lbs a standard BP&W setup with a 45lb wing will ...

Re: How do you carry your gear?
+1 to Poiguy05. The roller tool totes are great for getting everything together, great for transport over various terrain to get to your setup spot, and can be used as a soak tub when you'd done and want to rinse your gear. They're fairly inexpensive (between $25-50 at Lowes and Home Depot).

New Pay it Forward Box
Hey folks, So once upon a time there was a Pay if Forward Box floating around and it was a great chance to pass on some quality gear to people that needed it as well as move out some gear that wasn't being used and find it a new and loving home. Well I'm reviving this and have a new PIF box ready to...

Moving Sale - BP&W Setup
My wife and I are moving to the UK and I'm not going to take my current rig with me. I will likely take some time to get acclimated over there and then pick up something new. But that means getting rid of my current system. It's a bit of a franked-rig, but it dives solid! OMS Harness (XL) with weigh...

Ben,
Got a price point you're aiming to be in? Might help to narrow the field.
Color preferences?

+1 to Magoi. I was just at the Atlantis Resort in Dumaguete a couple months ago and I also did the Apo trip in which they treated us to a full lunch, bottomless coffee, tea, soda, and bottled water (and everyone was offered a free beer on the way back to the resort). I think your best bet in finding...

Oceanic VT 4.0 - Receiver only
Bit the bullet and upgraded my AI wrist computer to something a little sleeker and newer this weekend at the divers fair. Having done so I now have an Oceanic VT-4 that will be looking for a new home as soon as I pull my last dives off of it. As my new computer is also and Oceanic, I'm keeping the t...

Computer Advice - To Lynx or not to Lynx, that is the question
Hello my esteemed diving friends, colleagues, and gear experts, I'm getting ready to do some gear upgrading in the near future and one of the key pieces of gear I'm looking to upgrade is my AI computer. I've been diving the Oceanic Veo 4.1 (the version before they took away the buddy monitoring setu...
