Re: As Required!

I updated my avatar ladies Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2 Did you pull that from your myspace profile pic? I thought for sure a mod would delete it lol We're pretty lazy that way. I guessing was sleeping on that one too. The intro was too much of a distraction for them apparently. Nice work!...

Re: Family weekend on Whidbey?

Go to Fort Casey! Maggie, Phil, Zane and I went there when we spent the weekend up on Whidbey not long ago. There is sooooo much to explore. I think Maggie and I spent a good hour and a half looking around the fort, and we didn't even get to all of it. I also second the suggestion to just go hang ou...

Re: Puget Sound Starts Here!

Nice video! By the way, your message is definitely reaching people. At SSCC (where I go to school), occasionally I will tell people I am a diver. There have been numerous people at the college who I have talked to who have seen your videos.

25ft of vis below 50 ffw in Lake Washington. 59 degrees above the thermocline, and 49 degrees below it. And the vis was extraordinarily clear for lake vis too. I highly recommend diving the lake right now. It's so warm at 20ft!!!

It makes it very easy to see why he sticks to single tank diving =P
Although Jeremy, if you just get a set of doubles, there's no rule saying you can't still use your single tanks for dives with long walks... Just sayin'! :smt064

Re: Epic diving Misery Point Reef and Pinnacle

Jeremy is just hellbent on making every "boat dive" into a shore dive. You know what he said when we were driving north along the coast of the hood canal on the way home? As he gazed out towards the Pinnacle dive site, he said, "Looks like it might be doable from shore."

Smdh...

Re: Epic diving Misery Point Reef and Pinnacle

Wish somebody had had a camera . . . the visual on flying red hair full of bubbles is precious! I guess you'll just have to come to Crescent then! Hoodless in the 60 degree water there is no problem. Thanks Jeremy for the writeup! I wanted to do one, but I had either too much work to do, or I was t...

Re: Real world example at an opportune time

Yeah. Add another +1 to the 40# for singles, and ~60# for doubles Honestly, unless you're planning some BIG doubles (119-130's) 60lbs is a on the high side. For 100's or 85's a 50lb wing is about right. (I've used double 119's with my 55 with no trouble.) Also agree. My "~60#" was suppose...

Re: Epic diving at Possession Point Fingers

Aha! That makes total sense (light bulb goes from dim to bright..) Its less a scuba diving issue and more a land/road use issue to get your gear closer. And you are totally right a "Authorized Vehicles Only" is hard to argue with and if they allow us to use that road with a courtesy call ...

Re: Anyone dive the Santi BZ400?

I have not ever dove a Weezle or Fourth Element to compare, but I have a BZ400, and I do like it. It is certainly the warmest undergarment I have ever had (out of two), yet I am starting to think true warmth underwater is a myth. I get cold no matter what I wear. There are just varying degrees of fr...

Re: Drysuit Training - BCD, Suit or Both.

To answer the OP, just use whatever works for the type of diving you are doing. +1. And whatever works for the individual as well. That was implied, since I was only talking to one person. I was telling the OP specifically to do whatever worked for him for the types of dives he is doing. But yes, a...
