Other great peninsula sites that aren't so current affected are the Sekiu "catacombs and Port Angeles Harbor. In the harbor you can expect to see large log bundles that have sunk in the past when the harbor had a lot of logs floated there waiing for export. In the log bundles, you will find var...

Also at East Beach, at about 90 feet is a small 12foot or so boat with a one cylinder motor mounted in the middle laying next to a tree. From the looks of it, it has been there for at least 50 yrs. I have heard that there is a sunken pontoon boat at about 120 feet, but have yet to confirm it. The ba...

I have made over 100 dives at lake crescent, mainly because it is close, but also because there are great areas to take classes. If you dive Lake Crescent, stick around a little longer and try a night dive there! It is amazing, there are thousands of crawdad eyes reflecting back into your light and ...

Diamond Knot dive?

I am thinking of putting on a charter to the Diamond Knot, probably in Feb. if the currents are right. Is anyone interested? Keep in mind that this is a deep dive (75-130fsw) in a very current sensitive area, most dive on doubles/nitrox. Must be minimum rescue and show log before dive!! the cost on ...

Stolen Gear

One of my dive buddies had his house broken into over the weekend. :angryfire: I would appreciate it if you all would keep your eyes out for the gear that was taken. All I have at this time is his discription, which is rather vague: Suunto Cobra air integrated computer attached to regulator set(unkn...

I never show more than I need for the dive. The one time a Dm on a boat saw my DM and Instuctor Patches on my divelog, I got paired with a "trainwreck" of a diver. I had trouble believing the guy had been certified! My last dive with that operation.

Hi, I'm Howard. I'm 29. Started diving as part of a fisheries science course and immediatley became fascinated with invetabrates. I worked in hatcheries for wdfw and in Alaska for awhile and decided it wasn't for me. I have had the oppurtunity to learn from some great instructors over my diving care...
