Re: Looking for regular buddies
I would also recommend one of the local dive clubs. Just about any should work for you. My wife and I typically dive though the Marker Buoy Club ( also on meetup now... http://www.meetup.com/Marker-Buoy-Dive-Club/events/ ) which has dives most weekends. I would have invited you to the dive we were h...

Bill in Washington house may reduce water access
For those in Washington, consider contacting your local representatives regarding this bill, which could cause several dive site to go off-limits if there isn't space for "adequate public parking" , or there isn't motivation to add parking. House Bill 1056: AN ACT Relating to restricting t...

Re: The GoPro Killer Has Arrived
I took the plunge and ordered one. It may be worth noting that there is a newer series, the SJ5000s (2 shipping, one soon to be released), but I have read un-confirmed comments that the new version is not as good in low light. Also, it's currently twice the cost. None-the-less, I hope to have a few ...

DC lost at Edmunds
Shot in the dark....
I lost an Aeris Atmos wrist mounted computer at Edmunds UP on Saturday and would be interested if anyone happened across it. It was black & green, a bit beat up, and likely lost between jetty way and the jetty.

Re: New to Seattle
It doesn't look like I will be able to make it this week, but I should be able to join a group diving next week.

Re: New to Seattle
I would appreciate a ride. My car (and wife) will be arriving in September, so it is only a temporary need. I'm sure I could through in a six-pack or some air fills in return.renoun wrote:Welcome,
I pass through the U District on my way to Cove II. I'm sure we can find a way to get you diving.

New to Seattle
While I'm sure there are countless "New to XXXXX" threads, I decided to start another for myself. I just moved to Seattle to start a research position at the University of Washington and I'm hoping to get in some local diving. I've noticed that there are several weekly dive groups in the a...
