Friend looking to hire someone to reattach buoy to anchors
Hello. I have a friend looking to hire someone to reattach his buoy to two of his three anchors. This is the buoy he ties his boat to. He is in the Bremerton area on Dyes Inlet. I've only done a couple dives in the last 8 years or so, and I'm not comfortable doing this myself, so I'm trying to help ...

Re: Tides App for iPhone
Thanks Jerry! That looks pretty cool and the reviews on it are amazing. I noticed it does not list predicted currents. Do you find that a limiting factor at all? Back when I was diving regularly I subscribed to Tide Guides, I think that's what it was called anyway, and I remember it had currents lis...

Re: Tides App for iPhone
Yeah I did a search on the forum before I posted and found that one. It looks great but is unfortunately not available for the iPhone. Thanks though!

Re: Tides App for iPhone
Thanks. I read some of the reviews and a few talked about inaccuracies compared to the NOAA data. Some others talked about how small the buttons and print are. Have these issues been fixed or are they even really issues?
Thanks,
John
Thanks,

Tides App for iPhone
Can anyone recommend a good tides app for the iPhone? There are several in the app store but I was hoping some of you have tried some of them before I buy one.
Thanks,
John

Re: New Book on the Lake Crescent Warren Case
Thanks for posting this. I have purchased the e-book and downloaded it to my iPhone. I have been curious about this ever since I first heard of it years ago. It must have been about the time you guys found the wreck. I remember reading in the news that a car had been found but that it was still unkn...

Re: Hello from Port Orchard
Either Peter or I would be delighted to do a refresher for you, and to show you what we dive for gear, and why we like it. One way or another, welcome back to the addiction, and kudos to you for realizing you need some brush-up to get back into it. Thank you! I have been given a local contact that ...

Re: Hello from Port Orchard
Do you have someone lined up for this refresher course? (very good idea btw) There are quite a few good instructors here on the board, although I don't think I know any in Kitsap. Thanks for asking. I do not have anyone lined up yet and was planning on asking for recommendations on the forum. I got...

Hello from Port Orchard
Hello all. I'm new to the forum but not new to diving or to the Northwest. I got my OW cert in 1980 and did somewhere between 150-200 dives in the 80's & 90's, mostly in Puget Sound. I don't know the exact number because I started using a computer based dive log in the early 90's and lost my dat...
