Re: Pertty flowers

Wow! And WOW! :bounce: Fort Flagler just moved up on my to-do list. -Ben Thanks for the wow! Just remember it is an advanced dive and very current dependent. Go at high tide if you can. It is a long ways out to the drop off at the end of the pier but do it underwater or you'll miss allot of the pre...

Unique egg layers

I have never seen one of these nor one laying such a geometrical egg mass! He is very tiny and this was totally accidental as I was taking a pic of a larger nudie and didn't even see him. http://underthesound.smugmug.com/photos/263402339_4KuYy-L.jpg These Barnacle eaters left a unique smilly face fo...

Re: The closer you look the more you see!

Actually not,,, Even my eyes are not that good. The nudie is about the size of a sesame seed so you can guess they are way to small to see with the naked eye.

Re: A whole new universe

Sorry it doesn't show all that well here but the right side looks like a horizon seen from space and there are bubbles along that side that look like moons. Guess you need to be a sci-fi fan to see it. :dontknow:

The closer you look the more you see!

How good are your eyes? At first this looks like just a nudie on a hydroid but after much looking I have counted at least 16 critters in this picture.

Where did you see this beauitful gem? Agree with the question... more info please! It's a pretty safe bet if I post it it came from Port Townsend. Not always but most of the time. As for seeing it? Only if you have real good eyes and know the clues to look for. They are only about 1/4" or less.
