I have a USB cable for Oceanic computers. I think mine was for an Oceanic VT4, but it might fit other models, too. If you have a use for it, it's yours.

Sixgill sightings - Reports wanted
It looks like the sixgill season may be coming to a close for 2020. It's always sad to see the sightings dwindle, but it was great to have them here as long as we did. A few of us got together and created sixgillsharks.org to help share information about the sixgills. As many of you know, the Seattl...

Re: Sixgills and more....
Great pictures and video! The shark with the white mark on its "forehead" looks like a shark we called Harriet Potter :-) If you can, please report the sighting at https://www.sixgillsharks.org/report-a-sighting Doing that will help us identify which sharks were here and when they were aro...

Found weight pocket at Cove 2
My awesome dive buddy found a weight pocket at Cove 2 on Monday night. If you lost one there, or if you know someone who did, let me know so we can get it to the rightful owner!

Re: Redondo: where did all marine life go?
FWIW, I've been to a few different dive sites in the last month, and there seems to be less wildlife than normal. Alki Cove 2, Alki Fishing Reef, Sund Rock, and Rockaway have all been a little light on life. I haven't been to Redondo in a few months, though. Not sure if I have bad luck as well, or i...

FS: 2 Liquivision Lynx AI computers + 3 transmitters (and more!)
I have 2 full Liquivision AI setups with a bunch of accessories that I'd like to sell. One of the dive computers is brand new, as it was a replacement from Liquivision for a warranty issue. All of the equipment listed below is shown in the picture. All of this gear has been maintained well since I b...

Re: Dive Logs
I love http://divinglog.de/. He has a Windows app and apps for Android, iOS, and Windows Phone. It's not free, but it is fantastic. It's great to have access to my logs on all devices and backed up to the cloud. My real dive log got soaked in some water recently. It turns out that many of my pages w...

Re: Computer Advice - To Lynx or not to Lynx, that is the question
I dive a Lynx and I like it. I also have a Xen on my scooter, and I like that, too. The displays are really bright, and I think their interface is pretty intuitive. The air integration is good. I've never lost the signal between the computer and the transmitter, which is an improvement over my exper...

Re: Hawaii, Big Island Diving
I liked the black water dive off Kona. Jacks Diving Locker and Big Island Divers do it. 2 miles off shore, 2 miles off the sea floor, dangling like bait on a line. What more can you ask for? :-)

Re: Tides and Currents class?
I took my tides & currents class through the Northwest Dive Institute (http://nwscuba.org/), but the shop closed, and they don't appear to have any classes. One of their former instructors or DMs might know if you can still take it.

I love my FX100, but we've had no luck trying to sell my wife's. I guess the like-new market for these isn't very good.

Re: Trouble with liquivision Xen software for windows 7
I didn't get the popup the first time I tried to install the drivers. I fixed that by saving it to my desktop and then I ran it from there. Seemed to work ok when I did that.
