Les Davis on 12/19... dumb?
Hi there. Planning on doing a first dive at Les Davis on Saturday and wondering if that seems like a fine idea to the locals.
Mainly based on all the rain we've been having. Think it'd be all silted out or fine and dandy?
thanks.

FS: medium HTS2 Harness and XL-XXL Hollis Elite 2 Harness
Hollis 38lb lift w 22" corrugated hose attached (SOLD) Maybe 25 dives on it. Size Medium Hollis HTS2 Harness I also have a size XL-XXL Hollis Elite 2 Harness that you can have instead of the medium, but it will need a backplate to mount to the wing. If you just want this harness I'd get it to y...

Re: looking for a singles wing ...
I'm looking for a singles wing too. Going to get my first BP/W setup and don't wanna screw up. Was considering the Hollis 38, but somebody at DRIS recommended the Dive Rite Rec wing. I'm a bit concerned about it not being a proper singles wing, but $$ wise, it's tempting with DRIS's package deals an...

Re: Last Days of Summer on "The Hood"
That's great. Never heard of folks seeing seals at Sund Rock. I think my head would explode with happiness seeing one while diving. Is there a Hood Canal spot where they are seen more often?

Re: Staying Warm!!!
Thinking of getting that Waterproof 10mm hood, but does the long bib just sit on the outside of your suit? I just have a bag suit with nowhere to tuck it? Dumb rookie question? Thanks.

Sund Rock, 4/30/14. Couldn't see the end of my arm until around 40ft, but was really nice after that. Maybe 20-30ft?

Re: Octopus Hole 3.12.14
It's just the standard 3+ Black. There was a "remove fisheye effect" I forgot to check when importing the video. That might be it. I got a lot to learn, but filming was more fun than I thought.

Re: Hello from The Rose City
Hey there. I'm in Portland and generally have a pretty flexible schedule. Weekday dives are easiest for me, but with a few days notice I can usually sort something out.

Octopus Hole 3.12.14
Just fired up my GoPro for the first time underwater. Hopefully it's not too painful to watch, just thought I'd post it. I typically enjoy even the worst dive videos...

Pony Bottle Mount
About to set up a pony bottle and looking for recommendations to mount it on my primary tank. Do I need to spend a lot on the nice clamp mounts or is there a cheaper yet reliable DIY version?
Thanks in advance.

I took my drysuit cert class at Underwater Works and it was very worth it. Lots of things I wouldn't have learned easily only on my own.

Dusty, do you only sell these direct or are they in any Portland area shops?
