Re: Sixgill segment on Oregon Field Guide
Hey Matt, Cool video. Unfortunately the sharks we used to get here on a regular basis quit showing up about the time we open the shop. I've only seen one and it was kind'a like my first grizzly bear experience. Definately awe inspiring! Do you have any photos from the site you guys found when you we...

Kind'a diving DIY
Can someone help me out? I'm changing the steering cable on my Honda 115 and I can't get the end that attaches to the motor to come apart. I've got the cap that screws onto the tube undone but the rod won't pull out of the tube. It goes as far as the eye on the end and stops. Any thoughts? Thanx :vi...

Re: What a week in Nootka Sound!
Good morning, February is usually a good month as we usually get some clear and sunny days during the latter part of the month. March can be a bit rainy and occassionally some snow and then from April thru until the early part of July are excellent. During the summer months we get a thin surface blo...

Calvin & John,
I finally got a chance to sit and look at the pictures of the corals. All I can say is, AMAZING. This is the first time we've had anyone concentrate on the deep corals that are beyond recreational depths. Once again, thanks for the photos- a real treat.

Re: DIY Emergency Oxygen
Does anyone know if DAN is still making their medical O2 rebreather? I did an O2 provider class a few years ago and the instructor had one of the origionals and DAN was supposed to be working on version 2. Apparently they were manufactured to extend the life of small O2 tanks when diving in remote l...

Re: Dont be messing with the Octo
The guy in the video is Doug Pemberton and it's been out for a while. He was out diving with us last fall an he said that it looks more dramatic than it actually was. The only thing that he could think of was that his light was creating a reflection of the octopus on his mask.

Re: Extended Range Diving
Gotta agree with the ol' gray beard folks. Most of my diving after I got my OW was military diving and it was a long time ago but it definately made you think about where you were and what was happening around you. I do a fair amount of 125+' diving and I find some days it is a lot more comfortable ...

I use the 'London Drugs' version of personal lubricant. Seems to settle the neck seal in so I don't get a leak.

Hello,
What kind of games do you play with an egg? I'm looking at contributing to the pool of 'addicts' and any new ideas I can find would be great. Good luck on filling your evening!

Towed Sled
Hello Everybody,
Does anyone out there have have any drawings\ pictures of a towed sled. I want to go looking for an old tug that is supposed to be somewhere on the west end of the Tahsis Narrows and figured I could cover a lot more ground with a sled.
Thanx,
Scott
