Never dove the cove.... Sandy bottom by the Jetty rocks at Cape Disappointment.

My friend and I are very interested in doing some Oregon coast boat diving. Mostly we dive on weekends, but we are less than an hour from Newport and have hour flexibility at work, so we could probably make things work if you are looking to dive different days. Since it is near the outfall of the Columbia River the vis is usually pretty bad. You need to wait till July and then watch the ocean conditions for a dive out there. The Barview Jetty is a better dive.

Vis. was actually pretty good. Around 10-15 feet, not to many crabs around and saw some nice Lings.
When the water calms down, I will be heading back to the Barview Jetty for a dive.... Your welcome to join me.

Love to join you. Don't know though. Might be razor clamming at seaside instead. Be sure to watch your high tide timing.
