ding ding ding! they just found a dozen wrecks while plotting for a pipeline. wanted to check and make sure that nothing was in the way of the pipe AND nothing would be in the way of any anchored ships.

nope. this is a place with no shipworms (although rising temperatures are changing that). wrecks from centuries ago, still beautifully intact.

i do not know about the boat ramp, but there is easy entry from the road in the park for mcdonald lake. was just there last week (not diving) and was surprised how warm the water was. nifty rocks, and a few small fish. clarity was definitely a feature.
