Re: Really stupid idea

The Glock 17 is designed to be fired undwater. There are retro fit kits for the firing pin assembly. Obviously designed for special forces/SEALs.... not for everyday use, and will assist the weapon in cycling, although it is mainly designed for surface firing, or maybe down to several feet. I also i...

Re: qualities of regulators?

I have the AL Legend ACD, which I really like. The 2nd stage has dual adjustements, one is an all the time adjustement for the amount of breathing resistance you want, and the second is a dive by dive adjustment, so if you normally dive 60 fsw and happened to go down to 100 fsw and want a little les...

Re: Pockets?

If you don't want to glue a pocket to your suit, Dive-Rite makes a pocket that connects to your weight belt, and hangs down at your thigh, then has a strap that goes around your thigh.

Re: Thursday March 26 diving?

I was reading the post about Les Davis in dive sites; http://www.nwdiveclub.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7454 and saw; Dive Site Description: A short swim out from the stairs (about 75’) puts you at the shallow 40-foot deep edge of the large, man-made underwater reef lying perpendicular to the shore....

Re: Thursday March 26 diving?

Last time I was at Les Davis there was a wolf eel underneath some ledges that had artwork on top. There was a ceramic/concrete table place setting on top of the ledge, but I don't remember how to get to it.

Sound familiar to anyone?

Re: DIW & Titlow 3/19/09

Uh yeah... thats my fault... I slacked off on the dive report too #-o The first dive was a DIW at 0640, about 10 mintues late for the tide, which was just late enough to spin us in a big circle. Once we were able to get our bearings again we made it down to the wall. I too was excited to see the wol...

Drysuit..... $2,000.00

Overfilling your drysuit to check for a suspected leak after a dive..... $0.00

Your buddy posting the pics of you doing the hulk pose in the overfilled suit.... Priceless
