Re: Sidemount in the NW
theres a nice collapsible wagon for around 75$ that carries 2 tanks and scooter in one trip. Essentially for us RB guys that carry twin 80's for Bail Out a distance (Like Magnuson Park for example), they are awesome. Can cary all the above in one trip. similar to these? http://www.campingworld.com/...

PS - maybe the best way to get your questions answered would be in person ... let's hook up for a dive sometime ... ... Bob (Grateful Diver) Sounds good to me! Waiting on the opposite side valve for my fabers from Add Helium... Adding the hip D-Rings, and center butt d-ring to the rig, along with s...

Sidemount in the NW
I know some systems work and some don't in coldwater... I've been intrigued by sidemount since before I started cave diving 3 or so years ago, along with the fact I have some really tore up knees... While we were down in Florida for 16 or so days this month (trip report to follow as I get done editi...

Re: Need some local gear dealers
Tacoma Scuba used to be, and possibly is currently a dealer for Cochran. They used to be one of the only ones, and likely still are. When I sent mine off for repair several years back, Josh sent it in.

Re: Just want some opinions
I'm assuming it's the north Seattle shop? Yeah, I won't get fills there anymore. Same problem, it's a particular person or 2. When I lived up there, one person could do math and realize filling doubles from 2500 psi wasn't 2 empty tanks... The rest couldn't, and one was darn right rude when all I di...

Just as an f.y.i. They don't earn the title of "Marine" till their ceremony at the end of bootcamp, or even rate to wear the eagle, globe, and anchor. The title of Marine, is earned. He's a poolee if he's only leaving to boot camp. https://www.lifeasamarine.com/marines/story/251853-what-is...

Re: ThThTh 3/5
We did laps, saw the cabin cruiser, tire reefs, saw some stuff in the junkyard, zoomed in circles, shot back over to the tire reefs, swam near the entrance, and called it a dive. Viz wasn't too terrible near the cruiser, till somewhere between the tire reefs and the junkyard and beyond the junkyard ...

Re: How many dives do you get out of your argon cylinder?
6cf I get 3 to 4 dives, 6 to 9 dives with a 13cf tank, less if it's a really deep dive or a sticky inflator that needs serviced. I have a tighter fitting crushed neoprene suit, so it doesn't take a lot to stay warm either. I've been using air this winter, works fine and is easier to get ahold of now...

Thanks for the info, we'll check the marine forecast to get the prevailing winds. I'll be orienting a friend with the spare scooter Thursday, so long swims aren't a problem to find everything.

Never new there was so much there! So can you park there? And you just have to pull in? I always drive by there, see all the no parking signs and don't bother. Currents similar to TTN for planning?

Don't know why the link wouldn't work. Mostly welded, and gusseted. Need to cut off the old bunk system next weekend, and see what needs to be adjusted for fit.

Lol, as soon as the axle arrives! Which is a 3 to 5 week window from this week when the order was placed. Since it's a custom built torsion axle that Dexter is building to the specs we gave them, it'll be a little bit... It'll be wider, and lower so we can drop the trailer down after trimming the ex...
