Re: Dive computer recommendations.......
I got a Dive Rite Trio. I like it, its very conservative. Only a few dives on it so far, can't speak about its long term durability.

Re: Drysuit Warm Water Diving
When I was in St Kitts I did not need a wetsuit. It was in July and the water temp was 80F. I only did 3 dives per day. I would get rash guard one-piece suit or a thin wetsuit. Mostly for protection from stinging things. DM are required there and they never wear wetsuits. Great diving with good reef...

Re: solo diving
I agree with the previous posts that its not for everyone. Besides having redundant equipment and thinking of contingencies for all posible problems is being vary familiar with the dive site. I used to solo dive when I lived in NC and dove in a lake in SC. I was comfortable with it. Having a spouse ...

I'm on my way to Singapore for a couple months. After all the inputs I'm leaning toward the X7-100's. But we'll see next summer.

Re: Purchasing Doubles
On the fore mentioned wall dive I was diving my first wing, a small no name knock off. I was so freaked out by not being able to slow my descent I bought the way to large wing. I wish I had a sight like this before purchasing the wing.

Re: Purchasing Doubles
I love the input, this is a great site. With doubles I will diving Puget Sound or in local lakes when I can't get away. When in Asia or Hawaii I will rent tanks. I once did a wall dive with a rented Heiser 120 without knowing the caracteristics. That tank was the heaviest thing I ever dove. In a wets...

Re: Purchasing Doubles
I used to have double A-80's. I split them up because I hated the buoyancy and trim characteristics. I'm leaning toward steel 100's, 119's or 120's. I don't know if I should get LP or HP.

Purchasing Doubles
Next year I looking to purchase my first set of doubles. I'm 6'-3" and 240'ish. I know I want steel cylinders. I would like input on what size cylinders and high or low pressure. I know depth and dive duration is of prime concern. I want them starting intro to tech, and eventually deeper trimix...

The beach at the Cove in Normandy Park is a private beach for Lot A property owners in Normandy Park. The city police will kick you out.

Argon Cylinder Mounting
How are divers mounting their argon cylinders? Size and location. Mounting cylinder to side of plate, waist belt, back cylinder(s) or a add on drysuit pocket.

Re: New to the Club
In Boise now. I learned to dive in Puget Sound. Since then I lived and dived in North/South Carolina lakes, Hawaii, Nevis, Jamaica, Phuket. I haven't dived in Boise yet, right now a bunch of my dive gear is in Singapore.
