Re: Browning Pass - a trip of absolute beauty & total disast

Kriss - I don't remember doing 3 dives on Sunday but maybe someone else can confirm? We counted a total of 16 dives but couldn't tell you where most were. It was all a blur - eat, sleep, dive, repeat!!! It was awesome. I have 2 dives on Sunday, 3 dives on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, th...

Re: Browning Pass - a trip of absolute beauty & total disast

Just got back a couple of hours ago. Spent the night in Campbell Ribver and meandered our way back and forth across much of Vancouver Island getting back, even spotted a black bear and at another place found fresh bear poop! A couple of deer but no elk. It was a wonderful trip, great people, food, a...

Re: Sculpin isodpods?

Are they harmful to the host fish? Now I'll spend my whole next dive looking for sculpins with friends! How's the diving over in PT ?

Sculpin isodpods?

Looking back through old photos, I came across this sculpin. I never noticed before, but are there at least 4 isopods of ???? species on the head? I looked in a couple of books that I have, including "Marine Life of the Pacific Northwest" but can't find any little critters like this. Whate...

Can I get in with no surgeries but 2 old compression fractures? :taco: All the advise and caring words are good and true. You sound more dedicated than I was at 17 so you should do well. I fortunately have a wonderful husband that carries my tanks if needed and always holds my hand for stability com...

With the plus rating - they're rated for 2470 + 247 so 2717. Any LDS should fill them to 3000 with no hesitation. We've never had any problems.

The Casio Comes Through

In an inpromtu photo contest while in the Philippines, another p&s photographer kind of scoffed at Larry's Casio saying that she felt bad that he was at such a disadvantage. Ha! Larry took 1st, 3rd and 4th in the macro division!! Against everything up to and including an olympus 4/3rds camera. H...

Larry and I were in bonaire Christmas 2009 and only two lionfish had been located at that time.
What's king of amusing is that on their beautiful mural in the roundabout is lovely image of a lionfish.
Pretty in pictures, not good in reality! :pirate:
