Re: Whatcom Skagit Island Dive?

i'll chime in as a diver who would LOVE to see more regular diving buddies up north! Rosario beach is a fantastic dive but is fairly open to the sea, can have heavy tides, and im pretty sure the park closes at dusk. Keystone also closes at dusk. Driftwood is open all night, but has no amenities. Sky...

:supz: I figured it was the urethane, but possibly a cleaner. I can't touch many cleaners/harsh chemicals without breaking out in some fashion. I asked Ron up at ADU, and he hadn't seen anything like it before, but didn't have any suggestions. It was mostly from my shins to my waist yesterday, and ...

Re: If this isn't one of the cutest things you've seen

My mom taught kindergarten for 30 years, and she always read Make Way for Ducklings http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Make_Way_for_Ducklings to her kids each year. When my parents retired, they got to go to the boston gardens and see the bronze statues of the ducks. I agree, ducklings are incredibly cute...

Couple unknown critters at Keystone

Tonight I met up with Jared, a new local diver, to take him for an evening dive at Keystone. The water was a good deal more turbulent than the surface or the tide charts suggested. It blew us all over the place, which was fine, as we just, well, rode the wave. Being tossed about in the middle of the...

The lower one. The big one looks like it might be a shaggy mouse. If you look real close there is a tiny third egg mass inside the larger egg mass in the lower left. Also there is another nudie inside the large ring on the left side. :angelblue: jeepers dusty, do you have your computer hooked up to...

Water party at Redondo

Yesterday was the club dive at Redondo Beach. That's close to 24 hours ago, so my memories are already a bit fuzzy. More on the delay, later. It was a lovely day for a dive, and when I arrived at the parking lot, there were already a dozen or so people milling about the parking lot. I greeted severa...
