Re: anybody know a good mechanic?

My wife ACCIDENTALLY drove her Honda in too deep of water and sucked water down the air intake. The insurance covered the cost to replace the motor. Just Saying ....

Re: Keep that dive flag flying

Here is another recreational boaters view of fishing and dive boat activity. Just an interesting point of view that I tried to clear up on a different board.

Re: The Amazing Sitka Adventure

Glad to hear everyone had a safe and fun trip. It all brings back great memories. Did you get to see the bone pile? Was the anchor the one Dave has been looking for for years? Is that a new walk through transom? I look forward to seeing more reports and video.

Giant Crab?

My son just sent me this picture. It is not the Pacific Northwest but what a crazy picture. Gives me the willies and the need to find a big cooking pot.

Dive Boat

I thought my boating budget was all dried up, then I found this picture and thought I would start a new budget.

Re: Thieves strike again

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. Sounds like a move is a good idea or high volt charge set up for the bastards. There are several houses on my street for sale or rent. Good location to I-5 and Redondo on the west hill of Kent. Neighbor is trying to offload his home so he does not foreclose. Great ...

Re: DIW this morning

Nice pictures Ron. Sorry I did not make it down. Sunday's diving was fun with 15 foot viz at R and 3TN. Made short dives due to temp and buddy had a leak in his neck seal. We had lots of divers at 3TN Sunday.

I will be diving Redondo in the morning at 8:00 with a buddy and then going to 3-Tree for a dive around 11:30. Wrong side of the sound for you, but you are welcome to join us.

Now that is a great post. Everyone was laughing as I read it out loud. I bet there will be an investigation due to the white powder found all over his face and on his sheets.

I was going to do some crabbing in area 10. I think I will have to pass. Now I know why this area does not get over fished and is open longer. #-o #-o

Re: Boat question

Ron, I would like to go get some tasty crabs in area 10 before the winter season is over. Just waiting for the weather to warm up above 32 to get the boat out. It has been way to long and I'm ready. We had friends out on the boat last week for the Christmas lights and Hot Butter Rums. Cold ass night...

Re: Boat question

Chuck, I need a personal seller to handle the details of moving some inventory. My wife insisted on buying a larger boat that she can enjoy. Sometimes you just have to give in and buy a dream boat to keep them happy. I have a difficult time letting go of toys. Always been more enjoyable buying them....

Ron, Trying to downsize. Can I bring them to your lot? My storage fee is almost equal to my house payment. I'm looking forward to some boat dives again. Here is my new toy. I have only had dive gear on her one time. I will keep one of my Glasply boats for diving most days. My new Regal has a nice sw...

Re: Boat question

I have several boats for sale. 19 foot and 21 foot. Turn Key boats and ones with motor replacement needs. Glasply boats are tough and work well in PNW. A good boat with good resale value. PM me if you want more information.

Re: Queens Bath Cave Dive

Diver Doug,

I never made it to Two Step this past week. We snorkeled at Caption Cook's Monument. Found the elusive Black Butterfly Fish. Interesting that this is the only area in the world you can find them. Here are some more pictures of the Queen's Bath.

Will be back home on Monday.

Queens Bath Cave Dive

Not much of a dive being less than ten feet deep in water depth, but I had always wanted to gear up and explore the fresh water filled Lava Tube named Queens Bath. This is a easy entry and you can drive right up to it with a SUV or 4WD. I discovered it last year and was not prepared to explore the d...

Having a great week. Wish I had some more dive time. Trade winds are blowing and swells are up on the Kona Coast. Glad I'm not back home in all the rain. I will take the warm wind and poor 50 foot viz any day. :breakdance: :breakdance:
