Last Sunday I saw a pretty creepy looking flat worm (I think) at Redondo. It was tan or pink, around 12-15 inches long, 1-inch wide, had a definite flattening to it, and was very smooth with clean straight lines (no ruffles/frills). It looked like a long tongue. Transfill whip questions

I'm wanting to put together a DIN transfill whip and have a few questions:
[*] Do I need special metals for oxygen compat?
[*] I've been told a dry gauge is preferable, anyone know why?
[*] Should I use Teflon sealing tape between pieces or something else?

Out of curiosity, did you purchase all this gear in a single transaction? I don't think I've ever heard of anyone buying a collection of tech such as this all at once, but perhaps you are the first...
