Les Davis 4th of July weekend

Post by Siennalg »

Does anybody know if Les Davis Pier is generally too crowded on 4th of July weekend to go diving? I know the 4th is busy, but wanted to go on the 5th. Thanks!

Great. Sounds like how it always is from the two Sundays I've spent there. I'm new to the state so I wasn't sure if the fanfare lasted all weekend.

Just don't plan anything on the 4th. You'll get bombed by someone's anchor! That place is a madhouse both on land and on the water and you can bet that a good 50% or more of those boaters don't even know the the dive area exists!
