They taste like red rock crab- but there's very little meat in one, and you spend more calories getting it out than you get from eating it.

So maybe a good diet food :)

Do divers ever see these or do they mainly inhabit more marshy areas and estuaries as the article states?

Correct- the shallow sloughs and low-vis estuaries where they live are unlikely dive sites
