Thank you for the link! I found the article fascinating, not just for what it says about the possibilities of multiple episodes of evolution, but also just for the information on the number of critical proteins whose genes are now recognized and sequenced. When I think about the molecular biology I took in college, in the late 1970's, the explosion of information is simply astonishing.
