Help me with this.

Derek and I came across this in a rock pile by the VW bug. I know that GPO's turn pale when dying but do other GPO's dine on them?

Yep. Takes a lot of eating to get that large that fast.

Actually, they will eat each other even if not dead. :) My brother is a master catcher of animals. In the 80s he caught me about 5 octo's out of a tide pool, before they were protected. I had two tanks at home, without fish. I placed two in one tank and three in the other. I soon had one large one in each. :) I looked all over for them, as they are master of escape, but they didn't get out, they just got eaten.

Drink water, breathe air. Never get these mixed up.
