What is This?

Post by Magoi »

Was in the bottle field at Redondo yesterday and took a couple shots of a small octo. Did not notice anything unusual until I looked at the photo with the worm like thing. The worm photo was my second shot.

Would you believe your worm-like thing is a WORM? :D
Andy Lamb's Big Book of Slimy Things calls it a Jointed Three-Section Tubeworm.
They can be up to 19" long.

Thanks Janna.

Was the Octo hunting the worm? Seems like something was going on there.

I think it would make a much better story if the worm was hunting the octopus!
