Juvenile chinook salmon?

Post by derekcs »

Saw a school of silvery fish in the shallows at Sund Rock yesterday. They didn't look like perch. Thought they might be young salmon. Looking at a fish ID book, Google, thinking they're juvenile chinook salmon. Does that seem right to someone more knowledgeable?

Nice catch, I've never seen salmon in the wild so, to speak.
Pop tarts and gravy,
It's what's for breakfast.
