Diy project

Post by verrinne »

Im in the process of making a canister light, and mainly the last part is the canister, does anyone have any spare canisters or know what would be best to make one.

Dusty makes his out of PVC.

But you'll still need a lathe for threading.

Find the DIY Thread, I put a lot of stuff in there. Feel free to ping me if you have questions.

You don't need to thread the canister, no lathe required.

I made my canister out of aluminum, it's very cheap, indestructible, and very easy to work with. I used latches, instead of threads, you can sorta see it in this picture.

If it'll work for you I can make you a can for the price of materials / parts.
