3 Tree N. 1-13-11 1st dive w/ my own camera

Post by BASSMAN »

Well,
Cardiver and I met up at TTN for a single dive.
Vis was actually pretty good compared to what I've been reading about in the last couple of months.
My last dive was here with cardiver on 10/9/10.. The same day I had my surgery to my low back.
Doctor gave me the "Go ahead and don't be stupid" all okay to start diving again. :supz:
I'm having issues with my camera, on this first dive. I'll upload a few of the 160 pictures I took on this dive.
Man, I need some practice with this whole diving with a camera thing. Once I get it all figured out, I'm sure it will be fun!
Cardiver and I wen to the North end of the site and I found an old anchor and Ron pointed out a few small Red Octo's for me to practice my photog skills. A nice, comfortable and easy dive that still had an effect on my back. I think I'll be doing a few single dives until I can get back up to speed for multiple dives again. Thanks Ron, for a great dive!
pictures to come soon...

So these are my raw pictures from my camera.
Looking forward to learning the editing stuff

Keith, glad to hear you are back in the water. That's 2 forced dry spells in a short span. Too much for a guy who loves the water. Nice to hear you are doing better.

Still pretty baren, but much better than the tire piles!
It seems that since the big storm there is a lot more "junk" on the upside of 40' and not as much to see down around 70-80'.

Yeah, of the 160 I kept about 20
and then, I really liked about 10 of those.

It's great to hear that you're back in the water but it reminds me all the more how much it sucks to be sidelined. Hopefully I'll be ready to get back in the water this week.

Definitely take it easy with your back so you can keep having fun with that new camera.

congratulations on new camera keith! you've got some good shots, but yeah, the editing is part of the fun, too!

I'm glad you're back into the water, and remember, salt water is good for wounds and stuff, right? right?

Yep... That's a pretty good ratio... If the unkept photo's were a focus issue use your dive light as a focus light, I was having issues with my IC12 in low-light shots and it helps a lot... Great to hear your back in the water!!! Have fun with the new toy I have been...
