Met up with Keith, Jeff and Casey for a dive at Sunrise today at 330. Predicted slack before flood for the narrows (north end) was 435pm. Usually we nail this dive by getting in 45-60 minutes before slack. Today was........Different! We dropped in at 337 pm and were already in a slight flood that never let up during our 60 minute dive.
What a great critter dive, though! Numerous large GPO's. A few wolfies (although the pregnant female wasn't around). A few grunts and even a good size dogfish (Jeff. Picture please).
Thanks to everyone for a great dive and a nice workout!

Re: sunrise this afternoon.
I use the Gig Harbor current station for that site for what it's worth. That would still have put slack at 3:56 for today. I guess that's why they're called predictions!
