Hello everyone,
I been following this forum for a while and I think is time to say "hello"
My name is Jorge, I got PADI OW certified in April mostly because my Partner has been trying to convince me for about 5 years that it was really worth it and ohh boy, after the first breaths out of my rental regulator under that hazy shoreline pool I became a little "scuba crazy"...
I currently have 41 logged dives and I'm trying to go out fairly regularly schedule and social life permitting; During my underwater adventures I have meet lots of cool people already and I'm sure I will continue to do so for years to come, the diving community in this region is outstanding :-).
To support my scuba needs I'm a Software Engineer inside a dark cave in Redmond and, probably because of it, I'm really into gadgets of all shapes and sizes… anyway, looking forward on exploring more of our green slice of the pacific :-)
Regards
Jorge

Re: Time to say hello
Come out and join one of our Thursday Tweeks, Jorge! I think we have the ultimate diving style for IT geeks (at least, judging from the number of them that adopt it)

Welcome Jorge!
I hope you get a chance to come down to the South end and dive with us down here too!
Yeah I agree, it is a spectacular dive community around here.
We are truly blessed here in the North West region!

I haven't been to any of the sites south of Seattle yet but I heard there are some really cool places so I would really love to!

So far, the Tweeks have been in the lake. If the viz goes completely to h*** in a handbasket, I suppose they might move.
