Thank you guys, glad you enjoy my ramblings ...
Day at Possession Point Fingers. Did not find any new critters, just enjoying the dive.

I'm laughin' at your list of living things present in just one picture. Absolutley amazing! I find my little pee brain overwhelmed with " which one should I take a picture of?" I'll be looking for the next window here tomorrow. I'm already eager to come back. Nice work Jan. It's a real kick to see myself "cartoonized" too. You might be able to tell from my avatar that I'm into that sort of thing.
Now I have to leave the weekend behind & go back to work. Bummer!

I really want to do this dive -- I was quite disappointed when the viz made our charter a couple of weeks ago opt for other sites.

Knowing something about the invertebrate life really makes looking at these walls a much richer experience!

I've seen the I-beams at Cove 2 so full of egg yolk jellies that it looks like a fireman's breakfast!

I think the faces on squat lobsters are some of the cutest faces in the Sound -- right up there with penpoint gunnels, and both perpetually smiling.

While at the safety stop, I noticed a tiny Lion's Nudibranch clinging to piece of kelp. Never saw one this small before..

I watched Diamond Back Tritonia crawl in front of Buffalo Sculpin - looks like this sculpin doesn't eat slugs and
Tritonia festiva doesn't have buffalo meat on its list of stuff to eat :)

Hmmm.... Does this mean that the Red Irish Lord ended up eating the Grunt? :smt064

No, the Lord stayed motionless while the Grunt hopped around and away - to live for another day...
And some regulars from Keystone Jetty - to keep the post alive

Beautiful picture of the sculpin -- you can clearly see the circles on his tummy.

Thanks Lynne. We have lately frequent sightings of juvenile Puget Sound King Crabs at Keystone, too bad that we don't have the right underwater topography for them to become grown ups here ..

Thank you all, I am glad that you still enjoy the pages, it seems like there is not much new to report,
but so far, I still love to dive and although it is harder and harder to add new critters to my list, I keep
on trying ....Yesterday I spent lots of time waiting for the Lingcod to open its mouth and let me witness
some more of the cleaning action I was lucky to see last year.. It did not happen. Maybe next time...
And so it goes... :)

We were looking for the Gedney Island Wall but found only a sandy slope, small clay wall in 100 FSW.

Interesting information about the feeding, Jan. Peter and I have asked one another repeatedly, "What eats nudibranchs?" and other than Navanax, we didn't have an answer.

75th Anniversary of the Deception Pass bridge. Although I could not dive it on the exact date,
three days later is better then never :)

Whoa! I just discovered this thread (being brand new to this site), and it's a GOLD MINE! :notworthy: I'll spend many hours pouring over the pages, and I'm sending the link to several friends. Frankly, it should be required reading for anyone serious about PNW diving - a wealth of information, and your artwork makes it a joy to read! Bravo, Jan! :supz:
