This year's crop of lumpsuckers are out there....if you can find them.
Each mark on the compass for degrees (i.e. 60, 65, 70, etc) is 1/16 of an inch. So, this guy was about 3/8 inch long and 1/8 inch wide.

Thanks guys! I'm really glad that my husband had the idea of putting his compass next to it for a pic. I had signaled him to place his finger next to it for scale, but the compass is way better.
We've been averaging finding at least 1 this size per dive at Redondo and 3-Tree lately. Last May at Keystone, we stopped counting around 40. Little babies were everywhere!
