Hi, Kriss!
The site that you call "Hooded Nudi Bay" was actually called Hussar Point.
The wreck was the 270 foot long SS Themis, which went down in December, 1906, after striking Crocker Rock during a severe storm.

Kriss - I don't remember doing 3 dives on Sunday but maybe someone else can confirm? We counted a total of 16 dives but couldn't tell you where most were. It was all a blur - eat, sleep, dive, repeat!!! It was awesome.
I have 2 dives on Sunday, 3 dives on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, then 2 more on Friday.

kathy that makes more sense. i know i missed the first night dive (seven tree), then was too tired for second one (which everyone said sucked anyway) but thought i hit the third and fourth night dives. if there wasnt one on sunday that would shift the schedule to match what i was sort of thinking

Man, I'm so envious ... truly wish I could've been on the trip. Then again, with my track record up there if I'd gone along, it probably would've snowed or something.
Sucks about your camera, John ... especially on THAT trip. But the bright side is that you know you WILL be going back. And hopefully I'll be going with you next time ...

Welcome Robert ! Good to see you on here. We had agreat time meeting and diving with you and Derrick (sp?) along with everyone else.
Hope to see more of your photo's - they're awsome! Really nice perspective. Keep posting your trip reports and picture's so we can stay in touch. It's nice to hear from BC divers.
Tell Derrick hello and maybe we'll be able get together and do a dive again soon.
ps If any of the pics of Kathy up at Nakwakto turned out - could you send them to me in a private message? I'd really appreciate it. I dont have any of her wearing the condomhead hood!

Robert, those are fantastic shots! Mind if I ask, what kind of camera are you shooting on?

Hi John,
I borrowed your words for my Browning Pass Trip Report, "the best cold-water diving in the known universe!"
Thanks again for setting up this awesome trip! Be sure to let us know when you get your new camera and housing. I'll be looking forward to some awesome photos.

This seems to be a corollary of Murrphy Law; When the camera is unavailable great things will be seen. Many years ago I was on the Island of Hawaii when the volcano erupted into a 800 foot tall incandescent jet of lava. None of us had a camera with us. Still, I got to see it and so did you.

WOW! Do any of you guys take lousy photos??? Those are all spectacular, every one.
John, how disappointing for you. That must have been a dreadful feeling. (and then add the hip woes in too). At least you were with great company and in a beautiful spot!

I agree! I've pretty much given up warm water diving - the color and variety can be found right here in the Northwest....and it's always an ADVENTURE! Just wait....I'll drag you guys over to Nootka Sound or up to Prince Rupert next!!!

John: Flooded your housing????
I sure can "feel your pain".... I was at the Browining Pass Hide a Way in September, and on the 3rd dive of my 5-1/2 day trip I flooded my housing too, and ruined a video camera. Fortunately, I had a "backup" camera which saved the trip.
