Great day today!

Post by Bric Martin »

After a dive at Flagpole it was Elephant Wall that stole the show today!

We found an octopus out in the open and spent about 30 minutes with it. We started at about 60 feet and followed it down to about 100 and then up to it's den at about 40 feet. The weather was great and it was a really fun day!

Dale, thanks again!

Both of my stobes flooded last week and I haven't received my new seals yet. Hopefully sometime this week.
It was a great 30 minutes following the GPO around the reef. I got some pictures but nothing really good. I miss my strobes.

Funny how your whole dive plan can go out the door when an opportunity like that comes up! It's always a special day when you get to interact with critters in an unexpected way like that.

Sorry to hear about your strobes Dale. Hope they recover without to much expense  .
