nudi day on hood canel

Post by deep diver »

My boss let me have the day off from work today... oh yea that's me.....
I headed out to the hood canal with Bob and the nudis that I have been waiting for have started coming in. The giant nudi was just standing up on a rock saying take my picture. found the little red droid while taking pictures of the white nudi and found the bright white cruising across the sand. As you can tell I can never remember the names of them... and never will.
Went back to the gunnel that is inside the oyster shell, got a little closer and noticed eggs behind her. Nice surprise.
The little Wolfe and his buddies are everywhere it seems like
The water vis has dropped a lot down to about 20-25', but there was a lot of wind and swell today, so hopefully that was it and the vis will clear back up... but hey I wasn't working.

From my alter ego Sir Nitpick:

The nudibranchs are, from top to bottom:

White-lined Dirona
California Sidegill with a Cockerell's Dorid above it
Red Dendronotid

He's not sure what kind of nudibranch that second pic from the top is...........
