Port Townsend Dives this week, 6/30 onward

Post by 60south »

Anybody interested in diving Port Townsend this week? The currents are great.

We could do Point Hudson, Fort Worden, or anywhere around town. I'm game for whatever.

Slack times:

Sun 6/30 -- 9:20am
Mon 7/1 -- 10:49am
Tue 7/2 -- 12:10 (light currents until 5pm!)
Wed 7/3 -- 1:17pm
Thu 7/4 -- 2:11 pm (light currents until 7pm -- 4th of July dive, anyone?)

Your right, They do look nice. How did I miss that? It's going to be hot though. Wish I still had a wetsuit.

Kim out of town? I think he did say something about that. I'll do some checking and see if there is any hope of getting in at the fort.

Yeah, Kim's AWOL part of this week. Might be back by the 3rd or 4th.

Mmmm. I would be interested in a Fort Worden dive+BBQ any day.

Hey miracles never cease I actually got a site at this late date. If the wife doesn't kill me in the mean time that is. I will head up on Monday if my head is still attached to my shoulders. :violent1:

As for diving at the fort? I will have to think about that one that's one hell of a long walk for this old dude. :rawlings:

To dive? Or not to dive?... the latter is irrelevant! Get in the water!

Are we sure this is sane? The idea of climbing into a drysuit in this heat sounds a bit :nutty:

I'm thinking of heading over there tomorrow. For the late afternoon, towards the 6:30pm slack. Need to see if I can head out of work at a reasonable time to deal with the ferries!
