Mukilteo Dive Accident 4/17
Hey, everyone. The rumor mills are apparently in full swing over this. Here's the deal- a well known local diver, and very good friend of mine, had a horrible accident last Thursday. He's in the Hospital, and let's just say it really doesn't look good.
This incident has rocked a whole lot of people to the core- his family and friends most of all. The family has asked me to NOT let a bunch of BS and speculation get spread all over this site, and I WILL honor that request.
I promise to reveal the facts that we know at a later time, when the wounds are not so fresh. Please let us try to find a way to heal for a little while, and be patient.
Please dive safely, and hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight- life is precious and fleeting.

Thanks Josh, couldn't have said it better myself.

Passing on, or starting rumors without direct knowldge of the facts is not only an embarassement, but a big black eye to us all in the community.

Very true. Unfortunately, dive accidents and speculation are usually conjoined.Jeff Pack wrote:Passing on, or starting rumors without direct knowldge of the facts is not only an embarassement, but a big black eye to us all in the community.
My sympathies to all affected by this tragedy.

I'd just like to remind everyone that the friends and family of the victim are still grieving and recovering from the loss of someone very near and dear to them. Please refrain from contacting them publicly or privately asking for details about the accident. When the time is right information will come forth. Until then, please be patient.
Thanks for your understanding.
