Hood Canal

Post by deep diver »

Diving today I cruised by this wolf eel that I have been watching since it was about 2' long. Now it is about 4' long and still red. I've seen small ones that have the red color but not normally the bigger ones.??

Cockerels have all but disappeared and now I see why.. they seem to be catching a crab out of town

On the way back to the boat I noticed this little warbonnet peeking out of a hole at me.

It was a great day as there was hardly a ripple on the water. The vis was good in the first 15' and then got cloudy down to about 60' and cleared up nice past that on down.

Good job capturing such wonderful creatures on photo during your recent dive, especially the eel peeking from his hideout.

Dale,
My hat (or hood!) off to ya for still being able to find a Cockerell Dorid at Elephant Wall! Nice job - also was really cool to find that Warbonnet at Flagpole in an unexpected hiding place.
