Hello all,
While doing a safety stop at Cove 2 yesterday I came across what I think in a baby wolf eel. It has a face only a wolf eel mother could love, but it was out in the open. Others think it's a gunnel (sp?). There was a lot of wave action moving both me and whatever it is back and forth. The video is short; I slowed it down by 25%. Can anyone ID this for me?
Cheers,
John

It's a saddleback gunnel, not a wolfie.
Come to the nerd side, we have pi!

Penopolypants, thanks for the ID. BTW, my wife (also on the dive) will be thrilled to find out she was right and I was, , , well, , , wrong!

When you see a baby wolfie....you most likely will know.

Tom, great pic. Bright orange I can probably identify. I'm horrible identifying critters, I chose Chemistry, Physics, or Electronics for all my electives. http://www.nwdiveclub.com/images/icons/ ... rgreen.gif
