Hey, I am headed to Sund Rock.. and would love some tips on whats new there as I haven't been in at least a year...
Should I try to head to the wreck? How is the life on the North and South Wall? Is there anything new I should be aware of?
Any and all info would be welcome...
THanks.
Kirsten

Re: Sund Rock on Mar 14th...
I dove it last week.
The wreck is ok, but of course its a bit of a swim. The wreck is deteriorating and the port side is almost gone. I did find a wolf eel toward the stern and a big Ling on eggs right next to the eel. There's still lots of Rock Fish of course.
We then did the North Wall and saw the usual stuff. Tons of Rock Fish. I did also see a bunch of Painted Greenlings at about 40 feet or so, which are always fun. Tons of Gobies too. Deeper theres a few more eels and Lings on eggs.
Down to about 25 feet you could barely see your fins, but below that the viz opened up nicely. Maybe to about 30 feet or so.
Have fun!

I'm a south wall guy personally. Also like to hit the cloud sponges.
