I hope you guys are having a great weekend! :eric:

Here's a few more shots from yesterday! Glad I got to see Scubie Doo on a Saturday day! :) Millions of Thanks to YellowEye for teaching me so much and helping me to edit my photos. I had the strobe in the wrong spot and thought most my pictures from the last dive didn't turn out. However he was able to save them! :partydance: :notworthy: :taco:

Cool pix Jesse and Ryan!

Ryan, which of those sites did you enjoy more? Were they worth the trek? Did you guys see whales?

Lime Kiln was cool for the fact that we were diving near Orcas and always looking over our shoulder for them. We did it from shore so there was a significant amount gear hauling but the dive was cool. Lots of current even near slack.

Smallpox bay was the exact opposite. Shallow 20ft dive and zero current. LOTS of Nudis in the cove. We didn't venture outside the cove the current was ripping. Very enjoyable and you park right where you enter.

Its totally safe even during exchanges, but you need to be sure to tow a dive flag as there's a boat ramp in it and its very shallow too.

Yes, emphasis on shallow. The boat traffic looks to be mostly kayaks.
I guess the name was given to the cove because during the smallpox outbreak people would bathe in the clear water in hopes of curing themselves...

"Mostly" yes. But I have launched my RIB there, which has a prop. I'd hate to kill a diver who didn't fly a flag when I had no idea they were there until the last second I saw their bubbles.
