hood canal

Post by deep diver »

Sunday on the canal the weather was cold, the coldest air temperature was 21* extremely fogged in most of the day making it feel even colder with no sun at all. Had to jump in the water to get warm. Great for a boat ride as the surface was just a few ripples.

Water looked pretty murky on the way down, couldn't see the anchor rope when holding on to it. Once you got past 10' it started opening up. Vis was between was 25' and 35' depending on where you were.

Found a few octopus sitting on their eggs and a couple new small war bonnets have moved in to some rubble piles. The sun stars seem to be making a come back as there are small to medium sized ones everywhere.
