Dive Port Townsend, 4/20 or 4/21

Post by 60south »

<Bernie voice> "Once again I am asking you to go diving with me! </Bernie>

All my buddies bailed-out this weekend, and here I am desiccating like an Egyptian mummy in the Sahara. Anybody near Port Townsend this weekend want to dive? Mid-day, noonish times look best for currents.

Point Hudson is open, Fort Worden is always good, mid-town we can go looking for bottles or wolf eels, or do a trash recovery dive and pull up old crab traps under the docks.

I didn't see this until today. I've never dived at PT, I'd be up for diving with you sometime if we planned it ahead of time. I want to do all those sites!

Cool! I'm often available on the weekends. Critters, bottles, whatever you like.

There's been a lot of disruption at Point Hudson and it's going to take a while for all the life to come back, but it's still a great dive.

If you pick a super flat current day we might be able to do Ft Flagler too (I recommend it). Scooters advised but not required.

I have a scooter! I'll take a look at tides. I might be able to just take a day off too if it looks like the tides will be ideal.
