We were watching starfish eat them on Tuesday morning. It's really no wonder the lings are in a perpetually foul humor this time of year!

Ling cod are so stupid sometimes. I've frequently seen shrimp feasting on nests while papa ling was just sitting there watching.

I've also seen rockfish hanging out close to the nest, and as soon as papa ling charges off after some other intruder, they'll zoom right in for a nice caviar snack. Classic case of brains over brawn ...

I am agreement that the Ling are in a foul mood this time of year!
There is one at Cove 2 that is almost unbearable by the Honey Bear!

Scubak ~ that ling at cove #2 was only after you.
I think you must have sprayed something special on your drysuit before the dive.

either that or he was so busy chasing you that he didn't notice me following behind. :supz:
