New creatures found in Antarctica

Unfortunately all the samples were eaten by the Japanese expedition who graciously volunteered to bring them back for study. Further investigation reveals that two of the species were not edible...................

My friend has been diving there on a nudibranch research deal the past two springs (there)... they've turned up 10 or more new species not even looking for them- they are working with a species that some info is known.

I wish his photo's were mine to post, absolutely amazing- 1/4 mile visibility, sponges larger than washing machines, etc.
