I've been told these little guys are hard to spot and there are some veteran divers who have never seen one, so if anybody wants to check some out, I found a bunch of them out on the mud flats between the end of the dock and the oyster bed at Illahee State Park this past Saturday morning. I was working with a student so I didn't have my camera, but most of them were in the 1.5-2 inch size range and just hanging out on the open ground, doing whatever it is that they do all day.
For whatever it's worth.........

Re: Spotted Aglajas
These are one of my favorites. I can tell any one who is loooking for these there are quite a few out at Three Tree North just down from the bouy in front of the house with the antlers. They are mating or something and we saw well over 50 of them out there just yesterday. Some of very good size. Very easy to spot on the brow muck on the bottom.
I dont mind the RAIN!! I'm going to get wet anyway.
Re: Spotted Aglajas
They are all over Three Tree. Just look for them and you will find them.

Re: Spotted Aglajas
They were everywhere at Redondo on Sunday morning in the sand coming back up from the pipe boat. I too had never seen one, they were really cool!
Come to the nerd side, we have pi!
